Joshua Baker received his BFA in Lighting Design from Boston University's, College of Fine Arts; Design and Production school. During his time as a student he worked as an over-hire electrician for a number of theatres in Boston including the Huntington Theatre Co. Upon graduating from college Joshua was hired as the Assistant Production Electrician at The Huntington Theatre where he helped with the initial prep and install of the lighting package into the Calderwood Pavilion, the first new theatre complex to be built in Boston in the past 75 years. After leaving Boston, Mr. Baker began working for Peak Trading Corporation, a wholesale distributor of domestic and imported wire rope, chain, and fittings as their main sales person for all of their Theatre/Entertainment customers. Joshua is excited to combine his training in lighting with his knowledge of stage rigging material as he joins Barbizon's Systems Division.
