Cineo has added yet another powerful creative tool to the lighting professional’s arsenal – theStandard 410. Combining their award-winning white-light quality with innovative saturated-color technology, theStandard 410 delivers up to 25,000 lumens of beautiful, easily controllable, full-gamut light. Boasting a substantial 2’ x 1’ diffused illuminating surface, theStandard 410is perfectly sized for use in the studio or out in the field. With a maximum power of 410 watts and weighing in at less than 27 lbs., this fixture offers a unique combination of convenience and capability. Creating beautiful light within an extended color gamut is only part of the story. Cineo has developed an intuitive control strategy that allows predictable, repeatable results, either using the graphical control panel or remotely with wired or built-in wireless CRMX control. The strategy is simple – four controls or four DMX channels control the entire fixture in a single mode of operation: Dim –Cineo’s Photo-Accurate Dimming™ maps the 0-100% dimming curve to actual camera stops for precise output control using the MASTER control locally or on the first DMX channel. CCT –For color-accurate white light, choose the CCT as you would with any Cineo fixture, using the CCT rotary control or the second DMX channel. Saturationcontrols the amount of saturated color to be added to the white light, from full white to fully saturated color, managed on the third DMX channel. Hue –To optionally add saturated color, the HUE control adjusts the hue, the color of which is displayed on the control panel, or managed on the fourth DMX channel. WithStandard 410, the same color shading can be achieved regardless of the CCT used for photography. For example, +2 Green added to 3200K CCT will look the same as +2 Green at 5600K to the correctly white-balanced camera. In addition to our proprietary phosphor-converted white light LEDs, we developed phosphor-converted saturated color LEDs. These work with the phosphor recipes in the white LEDs to create a balanced, natural-looking spectrum featuring Cineo’s deep-red color rendering technology. The saturated color LEDs use the exact same dies as the white LEDs, so all light emitting elements of the Standard 410 carry identical thermal stability, and perform over time with identical differential aging. So after years of service, color stability remains consistent. https://www.cineolighting.com/
Lightblade LB Edge Series
NBCUniversal, in partnership with Cineo, has re-designed the ultimate creative lighting tools for Motion Picture and Broadcast: the LightBlade Edge modular fixtures.
Individual Blades are the key component to the modular LightBlade Edge fixtures. At 24″ (610mm) or 48″ (1.2m) wide by 2 1/2″ (64mm) deep, the individual LightBlades bring you both versatility and a low profile footprint that can efficiently and discreetly light even the darkest and tightest corners of your set.
Each individual LightBlade can operate as a stand-alone fixture, with internal AC power supply, control electronics with DMX and Local control. Combining superior white light with innovative full-gamut saturated color technology, a single LightBlade delivers up to 5,000 lumens at an 80-watt power draw. Both 24″ and 48″ LightBlades are the most powerful linear lighting engines on the market.
The LightBlade Edge fixtures offer a unique modular design. LightBlades are integrated into the mounting system to create the Edge 160 (2-Blade) and Edge 320 (4-Blade) fixtures, delivering 10,000 or 20,000 lumens. The LightBlades in the Edge fixture can be set to operate as an integrated light source, or they can operate independently for dynamic lighting effects.
The LightBlade Edge modular fixtures offer the simplicity of a complete lighting fixture with the flexibility of individual LightBlade control.
Introducing the Lightblade LB800™, the latest professional lighting tool from NBCUniversal® and Cineo Lighting™. The LB800 represents the latest technological advances within the Lightblade product line, with new features and even greater flexibility.
Like all LightBlade fixtures, the LB800 uses proprietary phosphor-converted white light LEDs, as well as phosphor-converted saturated color LEDs. These work together to create a balanced, natural-looking spectrum. The saturated color LEDs use the exact same dies as the white LEDs, so all light emitting elements of the LightBlade products carry identical thermal stability and perform over time with consistent color quality.
Additional features include support of both 8-bit and 16-bit DMX data, as well as multiple color space personalities.
Controlling the color space for each zone can be accomplished in either HSI + CCT mode, or RGB + CCT. The LB800 can store and recall multiple fixture settings for quick access to frequently used lighting parameters.
For dynamic lighting effects, the LB800 can be configured in 10 independent zones, with complete DMX/RDM control over each zone. For advanced use, all parameters for each zone are completely configurable via RDM.
The LB800 includes the same intuitive graphical user interface as the LB1K and Cineo Standard 410 delivering predictable, repeatable results. The fixture can be controlled locally or remotely with wired or built-in wireless CRMX control.https://www.cineolighting.com
At LDI this year DeSisti showed redesigned and upgraded versions of their popular lighting line. Their SoftLEDs have been re-engineered so that the fixtures have a smaller profile for low ceiling studios & location use. Reflectors have been eliminated and nowuse an aluminum extrusion for the housing giving a compact yet rugged design. The original remote phosphor technology has been replaced with fixed white chips, affording the fixture 50% more output while retaining CRIs greater than 95. All four sizes of the new SoftLED are available in fixed daylight, tungsten, or variable white (2700K - 6500K). DeSisti has also added the F4.7 into our line of 6" & 10" Variable White (2700K - 6500K) fresnels. This is our 650W tungsten / 200W HMI equivalent. The fresnel line features upgraded the chips in several of the LED Fresnels: the F10 chip has been bumped up from 165W to 181W making it a true 2K Tungsten/700W HMI equivalent. The F14 has been bumped up from 365W to 400W giving outputs equivalent to a 3K Tungsten / 1.2K HMI and introduced the F14 High Power which uses a 600W chip giving outputs equal to a 4K Tungsten / 1.8K HMI. DeSisti also showed a line of Track Mount fixtures, using the same track as other manufacturers. The 3" Piccoletto, F4.7 Fresnel and SoftLED 1 units make a great solution for light labs, teleconferencing, non-traditional studio spaces, and museum applications. http://www.desisti.it/
