Anova puts out the light equivalent of a 1000 watt tungsten bulb but uses only 38 watts of power at full output. ANOVA is a bi-color LED system and is capable of accurately reproducing white light from candlelight through to full daylight. ANOVA features full wired DMX control, V-Lock battery mount, Wi-Fi, and Magic Eye (patent pending). Rotolight’s new ‘ Magic Eye ‘ allows the user for the first time to accurately “ sample “ the color of ambient light in a room using an iPhone or iPad, and transmit that reading to the ANOVA light, which will accurately reproduce it. This revolutionary technology will also enable users to remotely measure color temperature and transmit that across the world to another studio, enabling synchronization of color both on location as well as the studio. In addition, the Magic Eye app allows the user to control either single or multiple Anova’s , and incorporates features such as fade, dimming, and color temperature control. A single control lets the user Dial through all working parameters, such as Brightness, Color Temperature, Wi-Fi, DMX, and Magic Eye. The heart of the Rotolight System, the RL 48B, is a professional HD Ringlight system, designed for DSLR as well as Video cameras. The “heart“of the light is a series of 48 LED lights. The RL 48 provides warm, shadowless, continuous, natural color, and is dimmable over 1.5 stops by using an ingeneous series of neutral density filters. In addition, a kit of filters (all filters are manufactured by Lee) give color correction of 3200K, 4300K, 5600K, and 6300K. All filters fit into the body of the RL 48 when not in use. Powered by 3 AA batteries, which can give up to 4 hours of continuous use, the RL 48 mounts to your DSLR or Video camera via it’s simple but sturdy mounting stand, which includes a mount as well as an accessory shoe mount. As a bonus, the center circle (left when the mounting stand is not in use) fits perfectly onto most of the consumer microphones available through a variety of manufacturers. With a beam angle of 110 degrees, and its matt black finish, the Rotolight RL 48 provides evenly balanced lighting. Solid state circuitry, a rubberized finish, a weather resistant on/off button and extreme light weight makes the RL 48 a pleasure to use. Available as a single unit or in two kit forms, the Rotolight RL 48B answers many lighting issues, and opens up a world of possibilities. TruColor HS is a unique color-accurate digital soft source designed specifically to meet the strict standards of motion picture and broadcast production. With more than twice the output of a 2kW incandescent soft light, TruColor HS delivers an extended Color Rendering Index (CRI) over 95, generates a 160-degree beam spread, and uses only 400 watts of AC power. The HS fixture utilizes a unique lighting method called Remote Phosphor Technology (RPT), which eliminates the color-accuracy limitations inherent in LED fixtures. Instead of relying on LEDs as the source of illumination, TruColor HS’ independent phosphor panels emit high-quality light when excited by the high-frequency wavelengths from blue LEDs. The interchangeable polycarbonate phosphor panels allow users to achieve both daylight and tungsten with a single fixture. Additional panels are in development to provide a complete range of color temperatures. TruColor HS incorporates anodized alloy construction and field-serviceable components. The fixture’s ballast includes both local and DMX control, and connects to the lamp head with a ruggedized multi-core cable up to 98 feet (30 meters) away. It’s passively cooled, flicker-free, and manufactured entirely in the U.S. Pricing for TruColor HS will be competitive with traditional and digital lighting for film and television. http://www.rotolight.com/

The Steadicam Smoothee is currently designed and engineered to work with your Apple iPhone 3GS, Apple iPhone 4/4S, Apple iPhone Touch, and GoPro with mounts for similar devices in the works. The Smoothee, developed by Steadicam, now allows these smart phones and Flip video camera owners to capture incredible video without the shakes normally associated with hand-held video shot on the go. The Steadicam Smoothee is approximately 8”W x 14.5” H x 2.5” D (20.3 x 36.8 x 6.4cm) in operating configuration. The patented quick release removable camera mounts can also serve as a tabletop stand or can be mounted to any tripod with a standard ¼ x20” camera mount The Merlin 2 stabilizer lets you fly wherever the scene takes you-up and down steps, indoors and outdoors, through crowds-almost anywhere-with precise control. The Merlin 2 stabilizer can move as smoothly as the big Steadicam rigs used in Hollywood. And its quick-release mounts lets you instantly swap camera connections between your stabilizer and any tripod. The design of the Merlin 2 stabilizer significantly reduces fatigue for longer, more elegant shots. The rigidity of its construction permits longer focal lengths than you have ever imagined. The Merlin 2 supports a wide range of DSLR’s, compact and professional camcorders, point-and-shoot cameras and other video-capture device models weighting from 0.5 to 5lbs. The new Tiffen Variable ND Filter was a huge success at this year’s NAB show. The Variable ND Filter which is a versatile and flexible tool, affording you the convenience of using several Neutral Density filters all in one. Primarily used as a photographic tool for controlling depth of field and exposure, the Variable ND is being sought in the video market as well because it is fast, easy to use, small and light-weight, and does not require additional accessories such as a matte box. The Tiffen Far Red Control Kit: Featuring the Tiffen T1 and the NEW T ½ is designed specifically for advancements in HD camera technology, reliably recreating true blacks in moving images has never been more challenging. Digital cameras with enhanced red response allows the DP to capture subtle hues of red never before seen digitally. However, opening up this channel leaves your images vulnerable to Far Red and Near Infrared contamination. The TIFFEN FAR RED CONTROL KIT has the unique ability to absorb this unwanted light while preserving the camera’s increased red response while maintaining crisp blacks and assisting the camera in capturing the wider color gamut it was designed for—minimal light loss—1/2 and 2/3 stop The Listec Z-PRO’s all-in-one design accommodates the lightest weight cameras with a minimum of fuss. Unlike conventional prompters, the Z-PRO mounts over the pan head’s balance point, eliminating the need for a full-sized balance plate and rear counterbalance. By reducing the overall weight of the prompter, the Z-PRO avoids placing undue stress on the support system. Now, a tripod with a capacity of only 25 lbs. can accommodate a mini DV cam and a fully professional 15-inch prompter — saving the need to upgrade to a more robust mounting. With its compact design and choice of studio and fold-down hoods, the Z-PRO is ideal for in-house prompting, or for those on the move. While standard models feature Listec flat panels, a typical off the-shelf computer LCD* can be substituted, affording the user the option of selecting the display. http://www.tiffen.com/
