Outstanding energy efficiency
Compared to standard 30 watt Incandescent R20 reflectors, GE’s LED PAR20 uses only 7 watts, reducing energy consumption by 77%. The lamps optics concentrates light on the target, diminishing wasted extraneous light and increases the CBCP from 230 for a 20 degree Incandescent R20 to 1200 for a 20 degree LED PAR20.

20,000 hours rated life to 70% of initial light output.

Environmentally conscious
These lamps are energy efficient, contain no lead or mercury and are RoHS compliant. Their long life also curbs the impact on the environment by allowing for fewer lamp replacements vs. standard halogen and incandescent light sources.

The Stage Mangers Console is at the heart of every production, supporting all aspects of the show from time keeping to every cue being executed in the right order and on time. The Stage Manager has the unenviable responsibility for this and needs a control position from where they can co-ordinate all areas of theatre both back stage and front of house.

GDS took the opportunity to look at how the industry currently approached this complicated piece of equipment and gave a much needed review. As a result they developed a new approach in both hardware and software increasing sophistication and flexibility.

GDS has a 19” rack modular stage manager solutions include a very handy Cue Light controller, controls for their backstage BLUES lighting system. They also have units with LCD monitors, clocks, intercom and worklight controls.
