Totalite Truss was introduced in response to a demand for an inexpensive style of truss in a non-metric format. It's a highly cost effective truss solution for lighter weight applications where speed of assembly and aesthetics are of importance. Totalite fills a hole in Total Structures product range between their 6" x 6" carbon fiber & aluminum hybrid New Wave product and their generic 12" x 12" Light Duty rigging truss.

Despite its decorative looks, easy portability and low cost, Totalite is very much a performance product and has a surprisingly high load capacity. It's more appropriate than existing, older truss designs for use in the exhibition, conference, television, decorative and small show markets.

Totalite is being stocked in very large quantities of 10ft, 8ft, 6ft, 5ft, 4ft, 3ft and 2ft lengths at both Total Structures' California Headquarters and their new Atlanta, Georgia warehouse. Custom lengths, circles and similar items are built to order in California.

Its low self-weight (a 10ft section weighs only 40 Lbs, versus 59 Lbs for a 12" x 12" Light Duty truss) also means that handling and transportation charges are also considerably less for a truss that is actually stronger than its generic cousin of the same size.

The LP-1x1 uses ultra-efficient LED technology that allows for a full 100-0% dimming range with a minimal shift in color temperature. It emits no wasted energy (heat), so it can be placed in close proximity to the subject and the end-user can easily handle the fixture without risking injury. Weighting only 3.5lbs., its form factor allows for multiple array configurations and a variety of common accessories. It can be used as an alternate lighting source in the traditional sense, as in film and video content that may be broadcast via various medium or presented on the "Big Screen". Other applications include corporate video-conferencing and live TV News broadcasts. Broadcast studios may prefer to use this product for specific lighting tasks such as interviews and newscasts or modernize their entire facility for economic benefit and the implementation of energy conservation.

Overall the the LP-1x1 is very cost effective. Main considerations in this regard include the number of features incorporated in its functional design, portability and its longevity in terms of bulb life. Unlike more conventional light bulbs, the LED requires no replacements and is rated at 100,000 hours life span. Most important are the energy and production cost savings associated with the use of this product. The LP-1x1 is available in both 3200K and 5600K versions; the daylight spectrum of the LP-1x1 is preferred for today's video camera technology.
