The Blues System is designed for the Theatrical Market where any customer who represents a theatre or performance space where they require working light during the show both front of house or backstage. Also, any customer using a light fitting in an architectural application would consider the Blues System as a potential choice for both inside and outside applications. In addition, certain accessories of the Blues System are being adapted into other specialist products for the Theatrical market such as Que-Lights and mobile working light boxes.

It's also the answer to backstage areas of any theatre or performance space where working light would be needed during the show. Front of house auditorium lighting for crossovers of steps or rear low level lighting in Auditorium. Architectural applications are far broader as it would include outdoors, indoors, pathway lighting, under-floor and under-water lighting, car park lighting, building lighting, effect lighting etc.

Several properties of the Blues System make the product range unique. They include:

  • Indestructible, the dome and beam fitting are both rated to 10 Joules of impact at 1.5m
  • IP67 (IP68) Both fitting are rated to a high IP rating and depending on mounting they can be IP 68
  • Integral Dimming via 0-10v allowing full control without any additional dimming equipment just PSU
  • Focusable, the Blue Beam range of products come with either 5,10 or 20degree lens for different height applications
  • The operating voltage can be anywhere between 11v - 36v allowing the fitting to be installed in a number of applications from building to transport both temporary and permanent
  • Brightness, with a single Blue Beam 5degree you can read a newspaper at 60 feet
  • Mounting, the Blues System range mounts directly onto standard conduit systems both in the US and around the world reducing installation time and materials
  • Size, we do not currently know of an equivalent fitting with same properties in performance that competes with the size of the Blues System in depth and width

The Blues System is both Rohs and WEEE compliant showing its minimal environmental impact along with its running cost.

One of the best benefits of the Blues System is the ZERO maintenance operation of the fitting, allowing customers to install a system running for approx 12 hours per day will not need to come back to it for at least 15 years meaning they have greater choice in where they can place a fitting and peace of mind that once installed, the running costs could not be more cost effective. The Blues System is an exceptional quality of light with impressive control ability while remaining small enough to not be noticed.
