 The Barger BAGLITE 6-LITE and 3-LITE are compact, lightweight, simple in design and highly efficient in use; making them uniquely great tools for Feature Films, TV shows as well the smallest Corporate and Industrial Production.
Director of Photography, Ed Barger, created the BAGLITES for his own use to be able to give the same quality of light and in the same style on small budgets that are usually exclusive to large budgets. With high light output, up to 6KW output without the need for a generator, no other light makes the Chimera produce a softer quality of light because BAGLITES fill the entire front screen of the Chimera. The speed ring is built in which saves money and time trying to finding the correct ring and it has individually switched bulbs so you can turn on only what you need. No hot scrims to handle which saves time and your hands!  The 6-LITE produces 6KW of light with only three 15 amp circuits and the 3-LITE produces 3KW of light with only one 20 amp circuit, all by using GE FCM-HIR 650 Watt energy efficient bulbs which produce over 90 % of the light of a one thousand watt bulb. The 3 and 6-LITE V2 works with Small and Medium Quartz Chimeras with special length poles; Chimera # 4026 -28.5 inch stainless steel for the Small and the Chimera # 4033 - 40 inch aluminum folding for the Medium.
For more flexibility when working at lower light levels, combinations of 750, 500 or 300 watt bulbs with the FCM-HIR 650s are often used to provide different levels of light adjustment.  | | Click here for more information | |
