About the Opportunity:
Barbizon is seeking a self-starting customer service person to maintain key accounts and assist sales in a fast past and continually changing industry. The position allows for personal growth and development through furthering computer skills, learning about new techniques and equipment, and practicing problem solving. The ideal candidate will be interested in staying with the same company for an extended period of time.
Scope of Work: - Manage customer's expectations
- Receive, Enter, and Audit orders to ensure completeness in equipment and pricing
- Coordinate purchasing and all other logistics for on-time delivery of items to customers
- Manage paperwork to ensure correct and timely billing to customers and payments to vendors
- Solve problems and conduct business in a logical and efficient way
- Interact with customers and coworkers in a positive manner that promotes the advantages of working with Barbizon
- Answer customer's inquires and/ or redirect and ensure further follow up
- Continually learn about all aspects of the business and equipment to improve customer service and to solve more extensive / complicated problems
- Research and resolve discrepancies in shipments and invoicingMaintain and check for errors on pricing spreadsheets
- Work with Sales Manager to revise processes and procedures for continued efficiency
- Perform other duties as needed.

Education: - High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Prior Work Experience:
- At least 2 - 4 years Customer Service experience Experience with theatrical and/ or video lighting equipment
