Barbizon Lighting Company has an immediate full time opening, based in Denver, Colorado, for a Systems Salesperson.
Responsibilities of the position include: - Generate Sales of Products offered by Barbizon
- Develop and Maintain Customer and Vendor Contacts
- Utilize Technical Knowledge Base of products and applications
- Professionally Represent the Systems Division to the Industry
- Sell Lighting Equipment and Systems
- Respond to Formal and Informal Bids
- Assist Systems Integrators in the fulfillment of their obligations
- Identify and pursue new customer contacts with the goal of establishing new accounts for the company
- Build Relationships with contacts in the industry
- Coordinate Customer and Vendor pricing with SI or SM
- Educate clients on why Barbizon is the best value
- Provide Value added service
- Coordinate systems sales with inside sales
- Purchase as required to fill orders
- Generate Invoices and Billing
- Customer Service
- Other Responsibilities as Assigned
Qualified candidate will have:- Clear Understanding of Lighting Equipment and Systems
- Ability to Sell with Integrity and Close Sales
- Awareness of Industry Politics
- Ability to Communicate with customers and vendors
- Ability to learn quickly, retain information and think on your feet.
- BS, BFA or MFA in Technical Theatre or Related discipline, and/or commensurate vocational experience
- Sales Experience
- Working knowledge of the equipment and its applications
